Don't be a cry baby now, I'm telling you the true facts about blogging. I know you would have some dreams of your own and that is you started blogging or maybe thinking of blogging, don't give away your dreams just because of some hard work needed to put in it. As you might know that nothing comes easy buddy, you have earn it to claim it, also a smart philosopher said "Success has it's own price, which is sweat and blood".
To achieve success in blogosphere you need to be an expert in SEO or Social media or any other kind of internet marketing. What if you are not an expert of any of these?. Now, that's that's what I call a problem but don't worry there is something you can do about it because not everyone is an expert from the day one of blogging.
- Stick to your niche: Before starting blogging you have to pick your niche which your USP, that is what people will look for in your blog. Even you pick your niche you need to stick to it and know about your limitations and strength in your niche instead of thinking of let me write about that also. Keep your unique selling point and give a reason to your visitors to visit your blog.
- Comment on other blogs of your niche: Commenting on blogs is now more than just leaving a message, it's become more important and it's now more of a gesture to thank the author for sharing the information and also a mode of communication with the author of the blog. Join Gravatars and create your avatar online and when ever you post any comment on wordpress blog your picture will show besides your comments.
- Social Media and Networking: Social media websites like Digg, Stumbleupon, and Twitter are best places to meet bloggers and create your network. The success in blogosphere also depends on how big your network is. Join online communities and forums to meet people like you and you can find some top bloggers in the process.
- Add a friend gadget so that others can join your blog and stay connected with you. As you can see I have put both Google's friends connect and Yahoo! Mybloglog.
If you are persistent then people will take note of your blog and you will see your way through. Now it wont take much time of yours, show your gesture by commenting on this post.
